The CHNS analyzer produces accurate quantitation of Carbon, Hydrogen, Nitrogen and Sulphur content of a sample. The sample is combust at up to 12000C with O2. After combustion, the gases N2, CO2, H2O and SO2 are transported by helium carrier gas onto the GC column where separation of the gases with a TPD (temperature programmed desorption) occurs.
