This is a family oriented event that explores the science of cooking and molecular gastronomy. Molecular gastronomy is a sub-discipline of food science that makes practical use of the physical and chemical transformations of ingredients that occur while cooking. At this event, participants will understand the science behind cooking and put it into practice by creating a new dish.
As part of NUS Chemistry Week 2017, the event will take place on the morning of 3 Jun 2017 (Sat) at the Department of Chemistry, NUS.
2. Participant Criteria
This event is opened to teams of 1 parent/adult and 1 child. The child should be above 5 years old.
Long pants (no skirt / short)
Long hair should be tied properly.
