Research Interests
Supramolecular chemistry of transition metal complexes- structural and biomimetic studies (catecholase activity). Ligands containing carboxylate, sulfonate and phosphonate groups.
Lanthanide coordination chemistry: Paramagnetic metal complexes and their coordination chemistry. Structural and supramolecular studies of various lanthanide complexes, particularly Gd(III) and Eu(II) complexes which may have a potential as contrasting agents or image enhancing agents in clinical research.
