Thermal analysis provides information on measurements of transition temperature (melting, crystallization, glass transition, liquid crystalline transition), enthalpy change associated with transition, reaction rate kinetics, thermal and oxidative stability, heat capacity, polymorphism, curing, softening and penetratio behaviour, and relaxation process etc.
Thermogravimetric Analysis - Instrumentation includes TA instrument 2960 (DTA-TGA) that covers a temperature ranging from 25 to 1 000 deg C and Mettler Toledo TGA/DSC1 that covers a temperature ranging up to 1 500 deg C.
Differential Scanning Calorimetry - Instrumentation includes TA instrument 2920 (DSC) and Mettler Toledo DSC1 that covers a temperature ranging from -100 to 400 deg C.
